Stake Dance or ...Pirate Paradise?--A little of both.

Tonight Shaun was working, so, Lindsay went to the Stake Dance with her best friend, Emily Pool. They didn't dance much--but Lindsay did get to do the "twist" with an older friend in her ward, Mike Dickey. (It's a fast dance.) The whole gym was decorated like an island, complete with a shipwrecked boat. It was a nice opporunity to talk with some friends.

Shaun came home from work after learning how to sell a gun (at a sporting/hunting goods store). Basically, it's a lot paperwork and a phone call. He seemed to enjoy the education!

By the way---it SNOWED April! hailed...and it was sunny. It was weird.

That's all for now!

New job--and hanging out

Shaun had his first day of work at Joes on Tuesday. He watched instructional videos and did paperwork. He came home announcing that he would need more khaki pants. Imagine my delight to go shopping with him (a man who doesn't really enjoy the mall--but goes because he loves me).

Other than that, we are spending time together in the evening and enjoying eachother's company.

Oh, we turned in our cable box yesterday to cut down on costs since nothing good is on anyway--that's not on the internet to see for free.

And we made chicken parmesan from scratch on Tuesday. It was delicious.

That's about all for now. We're blessed with our health and happiness!

April is almost half over!!

That's crazy! So much has been happening!

Shaun has started spring quarter. He is taking General Inorganic Chemistry III, American Government, and an English composition class. Shaun also got a new job! He quit his job at Bellingham Cold Storage (which he is very happy about), and starts Tuesday working at Joe's (formerly G.I. Joe's) teaching Hunter safety for the State of Washington.

Lindsay is working away as a Legal Assistant and loving her job. She is also staying busy as the activities chair in our ward. She has a couple of big activities coming up this summer, including a ward salmon barbeque, and the ward campout! It is going to be a busy fun summer.

We enjoyed the Tulip festival in Skagit Valley this Saturday with our friends Wendy and James and their daughter Emma. It was a beautiful day and was 74 degrees near La Conner! (In April, can you believe that?!?) So, naturally, everyone and their mom was there. But it was a great time! We will post some pictures after this.
