Picnic

Yesterday, Enoch and I surprised Shaun when he came home from work...with a picnic! We went to Cornwall Park and enjoyed a nice dinner in the shade. It was Enoch's FIRST picnic.
By the way, Enoch's getting better at trying to use his hands to put his pacifier in his mouth. It's adorable to watch..and we cheer when he succeeds. (He doesn't even cry over this kind of thing!)

If You've seen Star Wars...You Should Enjoy This.

So, I finally got sick after a year of health. I have a soar throat and head cold. But, I'm enjoying my medication, as I couldn't take helpful medication (like DayQuil) when I was pregnant. To pass the time, I decided to see if I could find a video on the web of a movie I watched at my friend's house when I was in high school. I FOUND IT! It's an independent film called, George Lucas in Love. I showed Shaun and now I'd like to share it with you. Enjoy!
If you can't get this video to work, click here for the link.

Bellingham Beauty

For all of you who don't live in Bellingham, here's some pictures of it's beauty! We all love living here. We get to live on the water without the traffic of Seattle. Vancouver, BC in just north of us--and is full of excellent cuisine and international excitement. (Sigh....)

Our Focus Remains...

When we gave birth to Enoch, we knew he'd be adorable forever....but, come on! He is so cute and we find ourselves having baby photo shoots all the time! Here's some of our latest. Not too much more has happened...oh, other than a possible growth spurt in week three--that is hopefully getting Enoch onto a longer nighttime sleep now. (Yea!)

We love being a family of three!

Little Drummer Boy is in da Weldon House!!!

My two favorite guys are adorable and so talented!!!

This video shares one of Daddy and Enoch's favorite things to do together.

I think someday when we own a home--we will also own a drum set!

Weird Mom Moment... or COOL MOM MOMENT!!!

I had a unique moment this morning when Enoch was crying in his crib...I started singing the chorus of this song. And...he stopped crying. I was singing it so sharp that his silence may have been shock and compassion for my effort. Anyway, I did it again later in the day--and again he settled down. It may be his favorite song?! Then when I looked this video up on You Tube, I was surprised that it was actually about someone's child. Amazing...right? (Shaun isn't sure that this is Enoch's song at all.)

Given a Name and a Blessing

Thank you to all who attended and participated in Enoch's blessing this past Sunday. It was a beautiful blessing and there was a wonderful spirit there in the chapel. Shaun and I love him so much and are grateful for all the family and friends in our lives. Here's a "few" pictures taken afterwards.
Taken Sunday morning, here's a picture of Enoch in his new ducky towel from his Great Grandpa and Grandma Weldon after a morning bath before church. He loves it!

And here's Enoch today in the outfit Teri Booth taught me to make. (I sewed almost all of it--except the bottom elastic.) He's a blast to hang out with by the way. If you haven't noticed, he's gone through a growth spurt and is getting more filled out. (No, I don't know how much he weighs--as we don't have a scale. Sorry.)
